PalmShell™ is highly durable and sustainable  exterior cladding product manufactured from solid Indian Black Palm.

 

Responsibly harvested from agricultural environments and the byproduct of palm sugar production, PalmShell™ cladding has excellent weathering characteristics taking on a rich, deep patina. Easy to install and formaldehyde-free, PalmShell™ is ideal for residential or commercial projects.

Material: Solid Indian Black Palm (Borassus Flabellifer)

Construction: Black palm lumber finger jointed using exterior grade, 0 formaldehyde binders

Size: 0.75” x 3.39” x 96” (19mm x 86mm x 2.438m)

Finish: Unfinished

Fire Rating: Class C (Currently testing to confirm class B)

Hardness: 3200lbf. Average

Specific Gravity: 0.992 Average

Emissions:
Meets or surpasses ULEF (ultra low emitting formaldehyde) standards under CARB ll. (Currently testing to confirm CDPH/Cal. Sec. 01350, zero formaldehyde emissions)
